my story (not complete)

Protagonist: Val Crele
Point of view: Third person
Conflict: invasion of evil robots planning to wipe out all of man kind.

One day, a high school student named Val Crele went to Gym class. Val rarely goes to school, but no one really cares. Not even the teachers. The girls thought he was a big stud. All the girls had a crush on him. Well, he was walking into Gym class when his Social Studies teacher stopped him to have a word in the office. Her name was Scarlet Grover.
She pulled him into his principles’ office where he saw his principle. His principles’ name was Joe Cooper. “Hello Val,” said Mr. Cooper. “how’ve you been?” “I’m fine.” Replied Val. “Hey Val,” said Ms. Grover. “Did you Cheat on your I.Q. test?” “What?” Asked Val surprised to what she had said. “Never mind.” Interrupted Mr. Cooper. “You can go back to class Val.” Val left quickly rushing to Gym. “hm. It’s strange,” said Ms. Grover. No one can cheat on an I.Q. test, it’s impossible. He scored over 100%.” “We should just leave him be,” suggested Mr. Cooper. “He’s a smart kid, that’s what it tells us.
As Val rushed into the locker room when the Gym teacher saw him. His name was Harry Higgins. “Hey Val, you’re just in time!” said Mr. Higgins. “We’re playing dodge-ball today!” Val just looked at him. “You’re telling me this why?” Asked Val. “Well, you’re a team captain.” said Mr. Higgins. “All right.” said Val getting dressed.
When Val was dressed he saw that the “hot shot” in the school, Fred Jones, was a team captain too. “So Jones,” said Val. “You a captain too?” That’s right pip-squeek,” said Jones. “And your goin’ down!” All the kids lined up and waited to be picked. “I’ll go first.” Suggested Val. “ Hmm, I pick Rene.” Rene is his girlfriend, and she’s quite the athlete herself. She had long red hair with blue streaks and she had a nice fit body. “I pick Carl.” Said Jones. Carl and Jones were best buds.
After a while of picking teams they started the game. Jones was the first one to throw a ball and knock someone in the stomach. “You’re out!” Yelled Mr. Higgins. Everyone else threw their balls rapidly and trying not to get hit. Soon there were at least five kids on each team, then four until it was three on two. Val and Rene were the only ones left. Rene threw a ball but Jones caught it. “You’re out!” yelled Mr. Higgins. “Ha ha!” yelled Jones. “One left boys! Lets take him out!” they all picked up a ball and threw them at Val. He just sighed and back flipped and caught one in mid air. “You’re out Carl!” Yelled Mr. Higgins.
“Is that all you got?” taunted Val. “Get him Val!” Shouted Rene. Frustrated Jones picked up a ball and flung it straight at Val. Val picked up a ball and deflected the ball that Jones had thrown at him and hit the other player in the stomach. Jones threw another ball at Val, and this was even faster. Val leaned back and dodged the ball. Jones picked up Two more balls and flung them at Val at the same time. Val ducked and threw his ball at Jones and sent Jones flying. “Winner!” yelled Mr. Higgins. Rene jumped up and gave him an unexpected hug. “You’re the best Val!” Just then there was a loud screech that made the school shake. Then, the wall fell apart with a loud crumble.
“What’s going on!” shouted Rene. Val looked at the wall and saw a strange figure floating in mid-air. He picked up a ball and threw it at the strange figure. A direct hit sent it flying and they herd a loud explosion and the loud screeching stopped. Val ran out the destroyed wall and through the court yard. He then saw the strange figure he hit. He observed it carefully. He picked up big speaker that made the loud noise. Val then went back inside and got dressed out of his P.E. clothes. He then went to the strange thing in the court yard and realized it was a robot. He heard a scream from inside. He ran through the destroyed wall and saw three more of the robots and saw Rene running from them. They were just about to grab her when Val lost it. It was like the world didn’t exist any more. In a flash they exploded. They were on the floor burning, and when Rene looked up Val was standing there. He looked raged. He ran to his locker and grabbed his wooden sword he made in shop. Even though it was wood it was pretty strong. He took it and ran into the gym where he saw their leader.
“Your world will perish in our clutches,” the evil robot screeched. “You will have nowhere to hide. You cannot run from us!” It looked liked a robotic spider. It was as big as the entire bleachers. It saw Val and opened its mouth. There was an iron rod inside and he had the sudden smell of gas. Just then, he saw Rene jump on its back. “No!” shouted Val. “Get away!” The robot started bouncing and jumping around.
But suddenly, she lost her grip and flew off and hit the wall.

"Who should decide which books"

What if a principle of a high-school asked a teacher that was using a book that parents aren't happy with but refused to use a different book. Do you think he should be dismissed? I think so.
I think that teachers that refuse to change a book that parents aren't happy with should be dismissed. It isn't right for a teacher to refuse to the principle about a book like that.
